The Costume Designers Guild invites all CDG members to an evening at Hollywood Costume – a groundbreaking, multimedia exhibition that explores the central role of costume design as an essential tool of cinematic storytelling. The exhibition showcases 150 of the world’s most iconic costumes from films such as The Wizard of Oz, Cleopatra, and The Seven Year Itch, as well as costumes from recent films including Dallas Buyers Club, The Hunger Games, and Django Unchained.

Hollywood Costume is curated by CDG president emeritus, costume designer, scholar and Director of the David C. Copley Center for Costume Design at UCLA, Deborah Nadoolman Landis, PhD, who will be speaking at 6:00pm. The exhibition is presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and made possible by the generous support of Swarovski.
