The CDG Awards Election Committee is encouraging all designers to submit their projects for consideration as early as possible before formal submission ballots are mailed out. Feature films, TV shows, or commercials must have shown for the first time on a large or small screen between January 1 and December 31, 2012, and a television series must have 6 episodes aired between January 1 and December 31, 2012, and commercials must also air within the listed time frame. In an effort to honor the art of costume design globally, we have opened our doors to include non-members for CDG Awards consideration. This also means you are no longer restricted to enter only fellow CDG member’s work. Members and non-members alike can be included. To Obtain a Submission Entry Form: (2013 15th CDG AWARDS Submission Form) Fax submission form back to the CDG office: 818-752-2402, Attention: CDG Awards. For those Costume Designers who are out of town, out of the country, working on location or for some other reason unable to submit their own work, we urge and encourage their agents to enter the submission on behalf of the Costume Designer. PR/Awards departments from various studios and productions have also requested permission to submit entries. While we prefer Designers to submit their Award entries, we are allowing those listed above to participate in this initial part of the awards process in an effort to include the broadest scope of quality entries in costume design. Please double check the information you are submitting is correct. Nomination entries and final voting is restricted to CDG members only! Submission Entry Forms will be officially mailed to the CDG membership on Monday, November 19, 2012. Deadline for submission entries is Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
